Here's a bit of real-life Z-RAY in action, both shot at Ambition's Graveyard (cool name!) in Norwich, UK.
Improvise with IKEA!
The first, shorter, video illustrates the flexibility that comes with true wire-free DMX lighting - here tucked inside various IKEA light fittings (please, if you do this, completely remove all original mains wiring and dispose of it safely into recycling).
It's easy, and it's fun! See what your imagination can do.
When you have no time to rig!
At Think Radio we also try and do our bit to supports our local live music scene, and at times that means having zero time to rig. This second video is literally one where we opened the flight cases and got the show on the road.
And for Classical Music Fans
Here's a little demonstration of what can by using sound to control some Z-RAY's.
Here ENTTEC EMU is being used on a laptop to control all 9 lights.
The 4 corner lights are doing an ultra simple chase.
The central vertical-line of 3 are doing sound to light.
The remaining 2 are also doing sound to light - but with a much faster attack and decay.
